Microsoft’s third annual Xbox Developer Showcase is quickly approaching, and there’s lots of excitement about what they’ll reveal. Confirmed titles include “South of Midnight”, “DOOM: The Dark Ages”, and “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33”. Additionally, a fourth game from another studio will be unveiled in an unexpected location.
A recent report by Windows Central might offer some insights into the enigma of the fourth unannounced title. It’s rumored that Microsoft could be introducing a fresh installment from a well-known Japanese series during their Developer Direct event. The specifics are yet to be disclosed, but it’s said that the intellectual property (IP) involved boasts a rich history spanning several decades, and this announcement is expected to delight many fans. Whether it’s a revival of popular franchises like Persona or Resident Evil, or something less active such as Ninja Gaiden, only time will tell.
The Xbox Developer Direct presentation has been scheduled for January 23 at 10 AM Pacific Time or 1 PM Eastern Time. Therefore, we’ll learn more details in a short while. Keep an eye out for further announcements!
