New Ghost Recon Game Leaked, Releasing Soon

It seems that an upcoming Ghost Recon game has been unofficially revealed on the internet. This series, originating from Tom Clancy, made its debut on November 13, 2001, with a PC release initially, and later expanded to Xbox, PS2, and GameCube. Over the years, there have been a total of fourteen Ghost Recon titles if we include both games and expansions. However, recently, the frequency of releases has decreased.

Initially, Ghost Recon games were abundant, dominating the market. However, over the past eight years, only two games have been released: Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands in 2017 and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint in 2019. Since then, there has been a noticeable silence, but rumors suggest that Ubisoft has been secretly developing a new game, which is expected to hit the market soon.

As reported by Tom Henderson, there’s a new installment in the Ghost Recon series under development at Ubisoft. It is yet unknown if the title “Ghost Recon Over” is its final name or just a code name. Regardless, the game is speculated to launch before the end of 2026, so we can expect an official announcement as soon as this year, or more likely, in early 2022 at the latest.

Unfortunately, Henderson hasn’t provided any specifics regarding when the game might be unveiled or launched. Additionally, no details about the game have been disclosed by Henderson either. However, it’s important to note that this information isn’t verified yet. Although Henderson is generally trustworthy, especially in relation to Ubisoft, this data should still be viewed with some skepticism. Since it’s unofficial, there’s a possibility it could change and become inaccurate over time, assuming it’s accurate to begin with, which seems likely given the credibility of the source.

As a dedicated fan, I haven’t heard Ubisoft address the recent speculations surrounding Ghost Recon yet. Typically, they tend to stay quiet when it comes to rumors and unconfirmed reports, so this might not change. However, if they decide to break their usual pattern and speak up, I’ll be sure to update you with the new information, regardless of its significance.
