The popular anime “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” is back on screens with a new movie that’s currently playing in theaters across Japan later this month. Soon enough, fans in North America will also get to watch “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Seeks Love“, which tells a new story from where the anime left off. After finishing the second season of the series quite some time ago, fans have eagerly anticipated the franchise’s comeback ever since, and this movie is just that! Rather than being a third season of the TV series, it’s a fresh feature film to continue the storyline.
Titled “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Elisabeth’s Dilemma,” this new movie continues where the second season left off, focusing on Elisabeth, a lonely dragon yearning for love and affection. In this heartfelt tale, we follow Kanna as she grapples with difficult choices when her father makes his entrance in the series. This emotional journey will pit her old life against her cherished new one. The film is set to debut in Japanese cinemas later this month, and Crunchyroll has secured global distribution rights, meaning it will be available for audiences worldwide (excluding Asian territories), with North America being among those regions.
