New Mortal Kombat 1 Update Features Changes to Takeda, Patch Notes Revealed

As a seasoned Mortal Kombat veteran with over two decades of bloodbaths under my belt, I must admit that the latest update for Mortal Kombat 1 has piqued my interest. Though it may not be as grand as the upcoming Khaos Reigns expansion, this hotfix has certainly caught my attention.

Today, NetherRealm Studios unveiled an update for Mortal Kombat 1, primarily focusing on adjustments related to Takeda. As of now, fans of Mortal Kombat 1 are eagerly anticipating the upcoming release of “Khaos Reigns”, a new story expansion slated for next month. Before this expansion drops, however, NetherRealm has implemented a few minor tweaks that will affect Mortal Kombat 1 in the near term.

Overall, the recent update for MK1 is primarily a minor hotfix for the game, focusing mainly on adjustments to Takeda’s Swift Stride and Shooting/Falling Star attacks. Additionally, characters like Frost, Tremor, and Ferra on the Kameo Fighter side have also undergone some changes. The good news is that since this update for MK1 is relatively small, it won’t necessitate a full download to implement these changes. Instead, simply launching the game will automatically apply these updates without any additional steps needed.
