Enthusiasts of the original “One Piece” anime and manga are well aware of its greatness, and those new to the Netflix live-action adaptation have only scratched the surface of what’s in store. Fortunately for devoted fans, filming on the second season has recently concluded, as it was recently announced that production has wrapped up.
The production team had been filming the show in Cape Town, South Africa, and shortly after, the Wrap-Up Party was held. A local stuntwoman and actress named Natalie Walsh posted a photo on Instagram, expressing her excitement about the completed shoot and the wrap party, using the caption “Wrap party vibes let’s gooooo.” At this point, no formal announcement has been made. Filming started in June 2024, with an anticipated end date in December, suggesting that everything is progressing smoothly. This implies that the planned release of Season 2 in late 2025 may be right on schedule as well.
