There’s a furry new member of the royal family.
Approximately four months following the passing of their cherished pet, Beth, Queen Camilla and King Charles welcomed a new canine companion into their family.
Speaking in a recent video shared by Daily Mail royal editor Rebecca English, I excitedly announced, “I’ve just welcomed a new addition to my family – an adorable 8-week-old puppy!” This precious pup isn’t of a specific breed but is more like a delightful mix of various canine characteristics, making it unique and special in its own way. The moment was captured during a captivating event at Beaney House of Art & Knowledge in Canterbury, Kent on February 25th.
“It’s a rescue dog,” she shared. “It’s called Moley—it looks just like a mole.”
The London-based animal shelter, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, where Camilla serves as a patron, confirmed that the couple took in Moley from their facility for adoption.
Battersea is delighted to share that they’ve recently found a loving home for an 8-week-old Jack Russell terrier cross female puppy named Moley, with none other than Her Majesty The Queen,” the organization shared with The Daily Mail. It’s worth noting that The Queen has been a dedicated supporter of Battersea’s efforts and has previously adopted two rescue dogs from their charity in the past.
After the heartbreaking passing of Beth, the Jack Russell terrier that Camilla and Charles welcomed into their home alongside another terrier named Bluebell back in 2011, Camilla has shared an uplifting news update this autumn.
Back in chilly November, I found myself saying a heart-wrenching goodbye to Beth, our beloved furry friend from the wonderful Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. She was more than just a companion to The Queen; she brought an indescribable level of joy into our lives. Whether it was strolls around the park, lending a paw in official duties, or simply cuddled up by the fireplace, Beth never failed to brighten our days.
The article showcased numerous sweet snapshots capturing Beth accompanying Camilla on a stroll, playfully licking Charles’ snout, and assisting the queen in revealing a commemorative plaque during a formal royal event.
In my role as a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to express heartfelt gratitude for granting Beth an extraordinarily fulfilling life and consistently standing by rescue organizations, just as you did. It is with deep sympathy that I bid a fond farewell to dear Beth. Rest in peace.
During the holiday season, Charles and Camilla honored Beth by placing an ornament on their Christmas tree featuring a small terrier donning a red bandana and sitting down. The ornament was situated near one depicting Bluebell.

On January 22, Prince Harry, also known as the Duke of Sussex, settled a lawsuit with News Group Newspapers, the publishers behind both The Sun and the closed-down News of the World, following his claim against them in 2019 over suspected illegal activities by their journalists and private investigators aimed at gathering information on the royal family.
The agreement required the company to provide a significant compensation, offer a clear and sincere apology, and publicly admit the extensive media attention and invasive nature of their coverage into Harry’s personal life, as well as that of the late Princess Diana, according to NBC News.
On January 14, it was announced by the Princess of Wales that she has achieved remission following her full course of cancer treatment.
She expressed her gratitude for being in remission and continued dedication towards healing, as shared in a post on X, previously known as Twitter, on January 14th. It’s well understood by those who have gone through a cancer diagnosis that adapting to a changed way of life takes patience.
She went on saying, “I’m quite excited for a rewarding year to come,” she added. “There’s plenty to be eager about.
In simpler terms, Meghan Markle (Duchess of Sussex) recently grieved over the passing of her cherished rescue dog, whom she had adopted back in 2015, prior to marrying Prince Harry.
On Instagram, she posted on January 7th: “I’ve shed so many tears I can’t even count – tears that lead you to step into the shower with the irrational hope that the water washing your face will erase them or make them invisible. But they are there. And it’s alright, too.
I’ve been incredibly grateful for all these years of selfless affection, my dear Guy, I can’t help but say. Your impact on my life is immeasurable, something you may never fully realize. – Meghan
Edward “Ed” Pettifer—stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry’s former nanny Alexandra Pettifer, also known as Tiggy Legge-Bourke—was one of the victims of the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share my profound shock and sorrow over the heart-wrenching demise of Ed Pettifer. In a heartfelt tribute on Kate Middleton’s Instagram Stories yesterday, I expressed our deepest sympathies. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Pettifer family, and all those who have been affected by this unspeakable tragedy.
Previously from the series “Suits”, who deactivated her personal social media profiles ahead of her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, launched a standalone Instagram account on January 1st.
