Following several months of anticipation, Semiwork unveiled the initial major Early Access upgrade for the game R.E.P.O. a couple of weeks back. After releasing this significant update, the developers seemed to have taken a brief break, but not for too long. While the new version introduced some thrilling features, it also introduced a few bugs. Today, another update for R.E.P.O. has been rolled out to rectify these issues and incorporate additional settings to enhance accessibility.
R.E.P.O., the amusing multiplayer horror game on Steam, has been a sensation ever since it launched in Early Access. Gamers have loved it since day one, and a significant part of this appeal is due to the weekly updates from Pontus, a member of Semiwork’s team. These videos not only offer insights into R.E.P.O.’s future developments but also provide an entertaining viewing experience. Recently, Pontus set a challenge for fans to decipher a riddle spanning several weeks in his videos, although he kept one secret under wraps. The latest update for R.E.P.O., which just dropped, has come as a pleasant surprise!
Today’s R.E.P.O. update is not as significant as version 0.2.0, but version 0.2.1 introduces some critical improvements. The game now displays a warning about photosensitivity to players. Additionally, Semiwork has introduced a new photosensitivity setting for gamers who prefer less intense flashing lights in the game. This is the sole new addition in this update, but it also addresses several important bugs. For instance, the “Stuck in Loading” error has been eliminated, and some loopholes that allowed hackers to manipulate the game have been sealed.
