New Rematch Update Released During Beta

The third-person soccer game “Rematch” entered its final Open Beta phase on May 28th. Players on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox now have a chance to try out the action in 5v5, 4v4, and a freshly introduced 3v3 mode, all before the official release. The Open Beta has seen over 107,568 players on Steam enjoy “Rematch” this week. However, the excitement doesn’t stop there! “Rematch” is set to officially launch on June 19th. In the meantime, the developers have been busy improving the game with not just one, but two updates, based on feedback received during the Open Beta testing period.

The ongoing Open Beta for “Rematch” concludes on May 31st. Players can obtain a Playtest key directly from Steam or dive straight into it on PS5 by downloading it from the store. Just like any beta test, “Rematch” has encountered some problems for users in recent days. After receiving bug reports through the designated system, Sloclap chose to roll out several patches during the beta. Firstly, a patch aimed at improving matchmaking performance was released to help minimize crashes. Following closely behind, another patch was issued primarily for North American players.

Hey there fellow gamer! Just wanted to let you know, we’ve made some exciting updates behind the scenes to enhance matchmaking times, particularly for high-ranking players like yourself. Plus, we’ve tackled those pesky server-side crashes that have been causing trouble. To enjoy these improvements, please don’t forget to restart your game!

As always, we’re keeping a close eye on the online experience and working diligently to address any issues that come up. Thanks for playing with us!

As a passionate gamer diving into the world of Rematch during its open beta, I’ve encountered some frustrating hurdles – lengthy waits for matchmaking and occasional server crashes, not to mention the sluggish online performance some of us have experienced. But here’s some good news! A patch has been rolled out today, May 30th, aiming to alleviate these very issues, so we can all enjoy a smoother gaming experience in Rematch.

A little while after the first fix, another adjustment tailored for North American gamers was rolled out. The purpose of this second modification was to address a problem where players were being divided into distinct regions. Now, the servers have been consolidated within the North America Central region, aiming to shorten the wait time in matchmaking queues and enhance team balance.

Players Ask Rematch To Extend Open Beta Following Issues

Together, these two minor updates are intended to enhance the remaining time of the Rematch Open Beta, making it more enjoyable for players. Yet, some enthusiasts are requesting even more content. Following the release of patch notes on X, many gamers have been petitioning Sloclap and Kepler Interactive to prolong the Open Beta by a day. Since it’s scheduled to conclude on May 31st, extending it for a day would allow the soccer action to carry on through the weekend, with these latest enhancements included.

Many gamers are pointing out that the Open Beta is starting before some players have had a chance to play Rematch. Increasing the number of weekend hours would allow more players to participate and also subject the servers to a thorough test before the game’s official release, which hasn’t been announced yet as an extension for the Open Beta.

Despite some technical glitches leading to the Open Beta update, gamers are eagerly anticipating the new release, finding it immensely enjoyable. Numerous players have praised its engaging gameplay, even though there have been occasional hiccups with matchmaking and a few persistent goalkeeping glitches.

Regardless of whether Rematch expands its Open Beta phase or not, the game will launch on June 19th, available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Additionally, it’s a day-one addition to the Xbox Game Pass library.
