New Super Saiyan 3 Design Revealed in Dragon Ball Daima

In the latest installment of “Dragon Ball Daima,” fans have been introduced to a fresh interpretation of Super Saiyan 3 Goku in their new anime series. A closer examination of this revamped design for Mini-Goku has left viewers thrilled. As the final episode of this series is rapidly approaching, we’ve seen Goku facing formidable enemies, but his current clash with the Supreme Demon King Gomah has taken things to a whole new level. In this battle, Goku has unveiled an unprecedented transformation, further demonstrating his incredible powers. Despite the introduction of this new transformation, Super Saiyan 3 Goku remains as impactful and iconic as ever.

In the final episodes of Dragon Ball Daima, the appearance of Mini Super Saiyan 3 Goku was somewhat eclipsed by the earlier introduction of Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta within the series. This initial overshadowing was compounded by the canonical debut of Super Saiyan 4 Goku as the battle progressed. However, for a brief period, viewers were able to witness Mini Super Saiyan 3 Goku during the fight against Gomah. Now, fans have had a more detailed glimpse of this new design, masterfully created by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru.

How Strong Is SSJ3 Goku Mini in Dragon Ball Daima?

In the Demon Realm, Vegeta’s use of Super Saiyan 3 proved to be a decisive move against Tamagami, swiftly ending their battle. However, during Dragon Ball Daima’s climax, when Goku transformed into Super Saiyan 3, it only briefly matched his power with Gomah. The Tertian Oculus, bestowed upon the Supreme Demon King, has granted him overpowering magic that has vanquished every opponent thus far, and this held true for Super Saiyan 3 Goku as well. Alas, Gomah was merely too formidable.

In Dragon Ball Daimaō, Super Saiyan 3 represented the pinnacle of Saiyan power attainable during those specific events because it took place not long after the Majin Buu arc and just before the Battle of Gods arc that initiated Dragon Ball Super. This implied that Goku and Vegeta had a limit to how powerful they could become, making the emergence of Super Saiyan 4 even more thrilling since fans never anticipated seeing it due to the anime’s position in the Dragon Ball chronology.

Super Saiyan 3 Is Cool Again

In the Dragon Ball series, Super Saiyan 3 didn’t receive much emphasis, but it managed to regain its cool factor after a long time. Since more powerful forms were usually preferred and shown instead, instances where this highly anticipated form appeared were rather scarce, mostly during times when Goku was trying to conserve his energy. However, the strain it put on both Goku and Vegeta means we don’t get to witness it often, which leaves fans wanting more.

In an unexpected twist, the “Dragon Ball Daima” series has brought a fresh perspective to the Super Saiyan 3 form. While Super Saiyan 4 is dominating the spotlight as the anime nears its conclusion, it has managed to make the Super Saiyan 3 form just as significant as when it was initially introduced in “Dragon Ball Z”. The form, once again, feels special even with the characters’ smaller bodies.
