New The Sims 4 Update Brings Consoles Up to Speed & More

In late May, PC users of The Sims 4 received a significant performance enhancement. Unfortunately, console players had to wait a while to experience these improvements. Today marks the day when console gamers can download the latest free update for The Sims 4. Not only that, but this update also includes some extra bug fixes aimed at all platforms, gathered directly from community feedback. As of June 17th, the update for The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.

Today’s update for The Sims 4 isn’t a massive overhaul, but it does include several important improvements. For players on Xbox and PlayStation, this update marks the long-awaited arrival of all performance enhancements and bug fixes from the last patch, which was released on May 27th. Moreover, today’s update also addresses a few additional bugs for gamers across all platforms. The fixes are all aimed at addressing concerns raised in the EA forums, so these minor yet substantial adjustments should enhance the gaming experience for all Sims enthusiasts.

As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled about this update! It brings two essential bug corrections to the main game, addressing issues such as Sim models becoming distorted when they travel too swiftly post-aging, and improvements to Sim portraits. Moreover, it includes a few tweaks tailored for specific packs, like adjustments to seasonal menus from The Sims 4: Seasons, and a solution for the disappearing employees in The Sims 4: Businesses & Hobbies.
