It seems Activision might be planning an announcement for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series on March 4th. This assumption arises from a new map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, where a TV screen inside a skateboard shop shows the date “03.04.25”, which when translated, corresponds to March 4. The hint follows close on the heels of rumors about a remastered version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, and this TV display could very well be referring to that project.
In the latest installment of Call of Duty’s multiplayer, a familiar map called Grind reappears, initially featured in Black Ops 2. True to its name, the map is designed around a skate park setting. A hint about this return is subtly shown on a store shelf, where skateboarding equipment like decks, trucks, and wheels are displayed.
Additionally, enthusiasts have scrutinized the tiny emblem above the date and discovered that the skateboarder’s pose is a blend of Tony Hawk’s tricks depicted on the cover art of Pro Skater 3 and Pro Skater 4. It appears to adopt the leg position from the first game and the hand position from the second one.
There’s been a lot of chatter about another remaster collection from Activision, and it appears that an official announcement might be made on March 4, 2025. The fact that Tony Hawk himself has reacted to a Charlie Intel post with an eyes emoji certainly adds credence to these rumors.
