New Yu-Gi-Oh! Game Collection Gives Game Boy Fans and Collectors More to Look Forward to

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for nostalgia, I can confidently say that the recent updates to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection have me more excited than a Duelist in the middle of a Trap Card Triangle! The addition of classic titles like Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters and Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories, along with some lesser-known gems, has made this collection a must-have for any Yu-Gi-Oh! enthusiast.

If you hadn’t given much thought to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection bundle when it was initially revealed a few months back, it might be worth revisiting now due to some recent updates that have significantly improved its appeal. At first, only games such as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2 were confirmed to be part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! collection. However, fresh announcements have revealed that more classic titles from the Game Boy and Game Boy Color eras, along with the return of a longstanding preorder bonus for Yu-Gi-Oh!, will now be included in the Early Days Collection.

This week, Konami has announced some exciting news for fans of Game Boy games and Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game collectors: more titles are joining their lineup! Apart from the ones previously announced, the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will include three additional games. These are Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, which was first released in 1998 for Game Boy, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II : Dark Duel Stories, initially launched in 1999 for both Game Boy and Game Boy Color, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories, which was released in 2000 exclusively for the Game Boy Color.

The newly launched “Early Days Collection” not only contains all the original content from the Yu-Gi-Oh! games but also offers additional features such as improved save states, online battles in certain games, and potentially trading cards (though details are vague regarding which games will support this feature). It’s been confirmed that over 10 different Yu-Gi-Oh! titles will be included in the complete release.

In summary, enthusiasts and trading card game aficionados will undoubtedly rejoice as the popular preorder bonus, a staple in previous Yu-Gi-Oh! games, returns. This time, it’s called the Early Days Collection, and by making a preorder, you’ll receive one of two distinctive versions of the renowned Harpie’s Feather Duster card. These exclusive cards are drawn from the Quarter Century Secret Rare releases, ensuring that either variant is included in every physical version of the collection preordered.
