The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 is almost here, and as a significant console release, it’s certain to have a wealth of games coming up. However, it’s also likely that there are many unannounced titles in store. This situation might be about to shift, hinting at a potential new Nintendo Direct broadcast in the near future.
According to well-known Nintendo leak source PH Brazil, who made this announcement during a livestream on Twitch (as noticed by users on Famiboards), Nintendo is planning a new Direct presentation. This presentation could take place either in the same week as the global launch of the Switch 2, or the following week.
It’s not unexpected, given that June has typically been when Nintendo Directs have occurred in recent years. Given the upcoming release of the Switch 2, it seems logical that Nintendo would generate excitement for the console by revealing significant new updates around its launch.
The Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days and weeks.
