It seems that for a while now, Bandai Namco has been expressing their plans to launch additional remastered versions of the Tales of series, and it appears we’re nearing the point where they will announce what’s coming up next.

As a gamer, my curiosity is piqued by two crucial queries: “What” and “When”. The tricky part lies in answering the “What”, as there are numerous classic Tales of series games that haven’t made a comeback yet. However, among the frequently mentioned titles, it seems like Tales of Xillia and its sequel, Tales of Xillia 2, are the ones that gamers always bring up.

For quite some time now, whispers about a remastered duology have been circulating, and last year around this very season, there was an alleged leak hinting at its existence. As a devoted fan, I’ve been eagerly keeping my eyes peeled for any updates!

However, it’s important to note that nothing is definitively decided yet regarding Xillia’s return. While Xillia appears to be a strong candidate due to numerous compelling factors, it’s also worth considering that there are many other Tales of series adventures that could potentially make a comeback as well.

Regarding the timing, it’s important to note that the Xbox Games Showcase is scheduled for today itself. So, we’ll just have to be patient and find out when it unfolds.
