As someone who has been fortunate enough to witness the profound beauty of long-lasting love through the union of Nicky Hilton Rothschild and James Rothschild, I cannot help but feel inspired by their simple yet profound approach to marriage. Their secret? Enjoy each other, have fun, and be a good role model for their children – lessons they’ve learned from their own parents who have been together for over four decades.
Nicky Hilton Rothschild tends to keep things simple in her almost decade-long union with James Rothschild.
In July 2025, the couple will be celebrating a whole decade of marriage, and if you’re wondering about Nicky’s advice for a lasting relationship, she keeps it straightforward.
At the 2024 New York City Ballet Fall Fashion Gala on October 9th, as I shared the evening with TopMob News, I couldn’t help but express my feelings: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be here, savoring every moment and letting the good times roll!
Nicky, who has children Lily-Grace (8 years old), Teddy Marilyn (6 years old), and Chasen (2 years old) together with James, commented, “I believe strongly in setting a good example for our kids.
Fortunately, the heiress has had exceptional role models in her own parents, Kathy Hilton and Richard Hilton, who got married in 1979 and are also parents to daughter Paris Hilton, as well as sons Baron Hilton and Conrad Hilton.
Nicky enthused, “My parents are simply amazing together! They’ve been happily married for more than 40 years, and their advice – always find joy in one another, never sleep on unresolved issues, and keep the fun going – has always resonated with me and my siblings.
Apart from respecting her own parents, she’s wholeheartedly accepting and enjoying her 40s as a fresh chapter in her personal journey.
She expressed her joy by saying, ‘I’m truly content,’ indicating a sense of personal and professional satisfaction, as well as confidence in herself.
In the current phase where parenthood is prevalent among many, Nicky and Paris are fortunate enough to witness their children grow side by side. This is because Paris has added a son named Phoenix Hilton Reum, who is 22 months old, and a daughter called London Hilton Reum, who is 11 months old, to her family with Carter Reum.
Paris shared with TopMob News during the MTV VMAs in August that it’s incredibly meaningful. “It’s just heartwarming,” she said, “to witness our cousins growing up side by side, forming the next generation.
Nicky agreed, adding, “It’s so fun having all the babies together, love it.”
