Nicole Kidman Brings Daughter Sunday Rose to Golden Globes Party

The night before the 2025 Golden Globes was a family affair for Nicole Kidman.

The actress who was nominated graced W magazine’s yearly celebration of outstanding performances on January 4, accompanied by her husband Keith Urban and their oldest daughter, model Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, aged 16. Within the event, they were observed conversing with other contenders for the 2025 Golden Globe awards, including Cynthia Erivo, Colman Domingo, and Demi Moore.

Nicole and Sunday, on that occasion, donned ensembles from Miu Miu. Arriving first, the actress stepped out in a gray blazer, navy trousers, and sleek, dark stilettos with pointed toes. Her daughter, who walked the runway for the brand during their Spring-Summer 2025 Women’s Fashion Week show in Paris last October, opted for an aqua and white embellished crop top and coordinating shorts.

Notable attendees were Angelina Jolie, Zoe Saldaña, Sabrina Carpenter, Adrien Brody, Jared Leto, and Jessica Alba. The crowd relished special cocktails made with Casamigos tequila and grooved to the beats by DJ Ross One.

Nicole Kidman, who has a daughter Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, age 13, with Keith and also shares daughters Bella Kidman Cruise, aged 32, and Connor Cruise, aged 29, with her former husband Tom Cruise, is being recognized for her 17th Golden Globe nomination. This recognition is in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture—Drama category, for her exceptional performance in the film “Babygirl”.

On the eve of a grand event, I was humbled to receive the International Star Award at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Awards held in Southern California on January 3rd. In my heartfelt acceptance speech, I chose to honor this moment by acknowledging the profound influence of two extraordinary individuals who have left an indelible mark on my life – my late mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, and my father, Antony Kidman.

Janelle, who departed at the age of 84 in September, and my father, who passed away at 75, were both taken from us ten years apart. Their loss is deeply felt, yet their love continues to inspire me each day.

With tears streaming down my face, I find myself standing here, longing to honor my beloved mom. It was at this very venue where I received the devastating news of her passing, promptly returning to be with my family. Yet, here I am now, back on this stage, a testament to my mother’s unyielding love and inspiration.

Over the recent weekend, the Palm Springs International Film Festival gathering and the W magazine’s soiree served as key events leading up to the Golden Globes awards in 2025.

Mother and daughter enjoyed a heartwarming instant when they both gazed upon the actress’s magazine cover, displayed at the yearly Best Performances event hosted by the publication.

At the 2025 Golden Globes, the award-winning actress graced the Golden Gala: An Evening of Excellence, where she was presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Accompanying her were her husband and their daughter. In addition to her own recognition, the evening also honored Ted Danson, who received the Carol Burnett Award. The event took place at The Beverly Hilton.
