Meghan Markle and Prince Harry know how to keep the spark alive in their marriage.

Meghan, the star of “With Love,” revealed that she and her spouse relax together after spending busy days working and taking care of their kids, Archie who is 5 years old, and Lilibet who turns 3 soon.

As per the Duchess of Sussex, she and her partner of six years make it a point to have personal moments throughout the day and night, which they affectionately call “day dates” and “nightly recaps.

Meghan shared with People magazine on March 12th that parents like herself, during this stage with children of similar ages, understand it’s just a matter of ‘wash, rinse, repeat’. She also mentioned that they often unwind by watching the series “Shrinking”.

Since leaving the British royal family in 2020, Harry and Meghan have been settling down with their family in a more private setting, specifically Montecito, California, which happens to be Meghan’s home state.

Occasionally offering glimpses into their shared life, the pair occasionally reveal more about themselves. However, the world really saw Meghan and Harry as a couple when she posted a picture of them on Valentine’s Day, showing affectionate public displays during one of their romantic outings.

Back in 2015, when questioned by Sky News about the arrival of my niece, Princess Charlotte sparking thoughts of settlement, I responded, “I believe it’s not something that can be rushed. It’ll happen when the time is right.” Truthfully, I yearn for a family now, but there’s a journey one must embark on before reaching that stage.

In the past, Meghan had already planned a special purchase for her future child. She said, “I’ve always admired the Cartier French Tank watch. When I learned that Suits was renewed for our third season—a moment that felt significant at the time—I couldn’t resist and bought the two-tone version.” She further explained to Hello! in 2015, “I had it personally engraved on the backside, ‘To M.M. From M.M.’ with the intention of giving it to my daughter someday.

The topic of fatherhood, much like marriage, has consistently followed the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana for a long time. In an interview with People magazine in May 2016, just before meeting his future spouse, he shared, “There are times when I think, ‘I’d love to have children now,’ but there are also instances where I think, ‘I don’t need kids!’ I can be quite indecisive about it. At times, the idea of having children has been daunting.

In 2017, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their engagement and gave their first joint interview together. During this conversation, the subject of having children eventually came up. “Absolutely,” Prince Harry stated then, with a smile from Meghan by his side, “We’re taking things one step at a time, and we hope to start our family in the not-too-distant future.

Meghan expressed that it felt like magic when she became a mother after Archie was born. She found it incredibly amazing, and with the two greatest men by her side, she couldn’t be happier.

After Archie’s arrival in May 2019, Harry exclaimed, “This experience has been more wonderful than I could have ever imagined! The strength and courage of women never ceases to amaze me, but we are both incredibly happy and grateful for all the love and support from everyone. In 2019 at the National Youth Mentoring Summit, I, Harry, found myself contemplating the valuable insights I’ve garnered as a parent. During my speech, I expressed that I’m profoundly aware of the potency of the unseen role model. It’s the individual who might be sitting here today, unaware that someone admires them and seeks guidance from them to become kinder, more accomplished, and more influential. As a father, I now understand that my son is constantly observing me, learning from my actions, and perhaps aspiring to emulate my path in life.

In his talk in 2020, Prince Harry expressed that our dear one holds the utmost importance for us. After attending to him, our secondary focus is on our work, which we strive to excel at. We’re simply doing everything within our power to contribute positively and improve the world around us.

Harry and Meghan have discovered a positive aspect amidst the coronavirus pandemic thanks to baby Archie. As Meghan expressed in October 2020, “It’s fortunate for us to be able to spend this time watching him grow, as we would normally be traveling and working more outside if not for the pandemic.” She continued, “We would miss out on many of those precious moments. So it’s been a wonderful opportunity for quality family time instead.

Harry commented, “We witnessed all of Archie’s significant milestones – his first steps, his initial run, his initial stumble, every momentous event.

Back in May 2021, I had the privilege of gracing the small screen during Global Citizen’s VAX Live: The Concert for a United World special. As a wife and mother-to-be, I couldn’t help but express my delight about our upcoming addition – a precious little girl. “My spouse and I are overjoyed at the prospect of welcoming our daughter into our lives,” I shared during the event. “The sense of joy we feel is echoed by countless families across the globe.” Reflecting on our daughter, we envision her as a symbol of hope and empowerment for all young women and girls worldwide, who deserve every opportunity to shape our future.

Meghan briefly appears in her husband’s Apple TV+ series alongside Oprah titled “The Me You Can’t See“. In this episode, it appears she is honoring her expanding family by wearing a shirt that says, “Nurturing Tomorrow”.

On June 4th, their little girl, named Lili, was born to the couple, who expressed their joy on their Archewell Foundation page. “We were incredibly blessed with the arrival of our daughter,” they said. “She surpasses all our expectations and we are deeply grateful for the love and prayers we’ve received from around the world. Thank you for your continued kindness and support as we cherish this unique moment in our family.

8th of June 2021 marks the publication date for Meghan’s debut children’s book titled “The Bench“. This book offers a unique perspective on fatherhood as seen from a mother’s point of view. Speaking about her new venture, she revealed in a May press release that the story originated from a poem she wrote for her husband on Father’s Day, just a month after their son Archie was born and this poem served as the foundation for the book.

In a letter penned to House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer in October 2021, Meghan expressed her joy and yet, felt overwhelmed upon welcoming her newborn amidst the ongoing pandemic that had disrupted regular operations in hospitals, schools, and other places.

She expressed that, similar to many parents, we were not faced with the tough decision of either staying with our newborn during those crucial initial months or returning to work. Instead, we had the option to bring our baby home, which allowed us to prioritize our children and family during that vital (and significant) period. This choice enabled us to avoid the daily difficult decisions about childcare, employment, and healthcare that numerous others must face, concerning childcare, work, and medical care.

Meghan went on to say, “It’s unfair for any family to confront such choices. Every family deserves the option to balance work and caring responsibilities, as is suggested by a broad paid leave policy.

In April 2022, on TODAY, Harry stated that combining parenting with working from home was virtually impossible for him.
