Artem Chigvintsev is facing legal trouble.
A professional dancer from “Dancing with the Stars,” who has been wedded to ex-WWE wrestler Nikki Garcia since 2022, was detained on August 29 due to allegations of domestic violence, as per documents examined by TopMob News.
Maksim Chigvintsev, who danced with stars like Charity Lawson and Heidi D’Amelio on the reality dance competition for 12 seasons, was arrested early in the morning and later released on $25,000 bail in Napa, California. The charges against him involve acts of violence against a partner or cohabitant as stated under California penal code section 273.5 (a)PC.
TopMob News has reached out to reps for Chigvintsev but has not yet heard back.
Chigvintsev and Garcia, both parents of 4-year-old Matteo, haven’t made any comments following the arrest. Interestingly, Garcia mentioned to her followers that she was in Napa (a place where their family owns a $1.5 million home) the day before the incident.
