As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing that “Nine Sols” is finally making its way onto consoles this November 26th! Having missed out on the PC release last year, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to immerse myself in this Taopunk world Red Candle Games has crafted.
Initially introduced in May of last year, Nine Sols quickly garnered a significant following, yet console players were left in suspense as the game was exclusively available on PC. However, now, the developers at Red Candle Games have revealed the release date for when this 2D sidescrolling Metroidvania action platformer will be available on consoles.
The game titled “Nine Sols” is due to debut on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in around two months from now, specifically on November 26th. As a gamer, I’m excited to dive into the world of “Nine Sols,” where Red Candle Games has cleverly combined the gritty cyberpunk style with Taoist and eastern mythology influences they’ve dubbed as “Taopunk.” In terms of gameplay, it promises a challenging, swift, and action-packed combat experience akin to that in “Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.” Throughout its 20-25 hour journey, I can’t wait to explore the stunningly beautiful and diverse setting of New Kunlun, which seems to offer plenty of space for my gaming adventures.
