Nintendo Insider Doubles Down on New Direct Coming Soon

As a dedicated Nintendo fan with over 20 years of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of anticipation that’s bordering on giddiness. The teasing whispers of a new Nintendo Direct have been circulating for weeks now, and the latest confirmation from PH Brazil only serves to stoke the flames of excitement.

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for any updates about Nintendo’s upcoming plans, and let me tell you, it seems we might be in for a treat soon! Just a few days ago, Nintendo unveiled its latest Direct, but to be honest, the presentation didn’t quite live up to fans’ expectations. Instead of shedding light on exciting new Switch games (or perhaps even teasing a Switch 2), Nintendo decided to focus on their upcoming museum in Japan, set to open this October. But fear not, fellow gamers! It appears that we can still look forward to a more traditional Direct, as there are whispers that it’s coming our way soon.

On Famiboards, an insider from PH Brazil has repeated his prediction that a fresh Nintendo Direct event will take place before the end of this month. Earlier, Brazil had been one of the first to speculate about an upcoming Nintendo Direct within the coming weeks. The emergence of a presentation connected to the Nintendo Museum led some people to believe this was the Direct being referred to. However, he later confirmed that this was not the case.

The insider mentioned that the Nintendo Museum Direct discussion didn’t cover everything, implying there are additional updates planned for this month.

Over the last ten years or so, Nintendo has usually hosted a Direct event in August or September to share details about its upcoming fall game releases. Given their past pattern, it’s reasonable to expect that they will do this again and showcase games like “Mario & Luigi: Brothership”, “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom”, and “Super Mario Party Jamboree” among others. If Nintendo intends to hold the event in August, they’ll need to announce it soon since there are only ten days left in the month.

The key issue concerning Nintendo currently revolves around the unveiling of their upcoming console, with many speculating it as the Nintendo Switch 2, following Nintendo’s confirmation this year that they are developing new hardware. However, Nintendo has been tight-lipped about the platform and its potential launch date, leaving fans in suspense until more details emerge, likely before the end of 2024. In the meantime, fans eagerly anticipate when and where Nintendo will reveal additional information.
