The much-anticipated release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 has officially been set as the 5th of June, 2025, following the recent Nintendo Direct announcement.
The announcement about the console’s launch is made just a few days following the previous Nintendo Direct, where they primarily discussed games.
At their recent showcase, Nintendo unveiled some fresh gameplay for upcoming games like Metroid Prime 4 and Pokémon Legends – Z-A, alongside several other third-party video games.
In addition to announcing new video games, Nintendo also revealed a novel game-sharing option where your digital games function like virtual game tokens, allowing you to pass them along to friends and relatives.
The announcement of the console’s release date coincides with the upcoming debut of the Nintendo Switch 2.
Over the coming weeks, various locations globally will host a sequence of occurrences. In these events, certain fortunate participants will be granted early access to test the system firsthand.
