As a seasoned gamer who’s been through the generations of Nintendo consoles, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and skepticism when it comes to the rumored “Switch 2.” The leaked images from Satisfye have certainly stirred up a storm in the gaming community, with many fans clinging onto hope that this could be our first glimpse at Nintendo’s next big thing.
Enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating details about the upcoming Nintendo console, informally known as “Switch 2.” So far, Nintendo hasn’t provided any specifics regarding its features, software, or launch date. However, web users believe they may have caught a glimpse of the console itself, and this revelation comes from an unexpected source. An external product manufacturer, Satisfye, unveiled a trailer for a new item called the “Zengrip 2,” which is designed to work with the upcoming Nintendo device. The trailer displayed a shadowy image of a system that resembles the Nintendo Switch, but there are several distinct differences that set it apart.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve noticed the buzz surrounding the rumored “Switch 2” trailer being taken down by Satisfye. Although the video is no longer available, snapshots have been circulating on social media platforms. In the Bluesky post below, you can catch a glimpse of what seems to be the potential design for the next Nintendo console.
It appears as though Cogedlo with Tweezers, the accessory manufacturer, may have inadvertently revealed the successor to the Nintendo Switch in their announcement for their upcoming product, Zengrip 2. The trailer for the product has since been removed.

Currently, it’s uncertain how much weight we should give to the image presented in the trailer. Given Nintendo’s notorious secrecy regarding their new system, it seems unlikely they would reveal the console’s design to a relatively small, third-party accessory manufacturer like Satisfye. Some fans speculate that the design shown might have been influenced by the numerous rumors and guesswork surrounding the system, and this could very well be true.
A closer look at Satisfye’s social media posts uncovers a response to an article from Gameranx posted on November 20th via X/Twitter. The article showcased renders of a possible new Nintendo system. Satisfye commented that the design “looks authentic.” Interestingly, these renders bear a striking resemblance to the silhouette used in the Zengrip 2 trailer. While this doesn’t entirely disprove the leak, it suggests that Satisfye may have taken and slightly modified the render, rather than having any insider information about the design. This conclusion might not be as thrilling, but given the timing and circumstances, it seems quite probable.
For now, it seems we’re all left to speculate as we await an official announcement from Nintendo. Fortunately, we know that this revelation won’t take too long, as Nintendo has mentioned that a full reveal is scheduled before their fiscal year concludes in March. This gives us approximately three months during which we can expect the new system to be unveiled. Historically, Nintendo Direct events have taken place in February, so it’s plausible that we might get some details then!
