The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 follows in many aspects the footsteps of its predecessor, including the handling of physical media. Like its forerunner, it will utilize game cartridges for physical games. Additionally, we now have a sneak peek at what the cases for these physical games may resemble.
Recently, Twitter user @Genki_JPN posted fresh photos showing the physical game cases for Nintendo Switch 2. Interestingly, these new cases will have the same dimensions as those of the original Nintendo Switch. However, unlike the see-through cases of the first version, the new ones will be colored red. Additionally, a few images give us a sneak peek at the interior of these game cases, which won’t undergo significant changes compared to the original Switch. Here are the images for your perusal.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch worldwide on June 5.
Inside, you’ll find it. The interior color of the plastic casing isn’t completely transparent, but rather has a slight tint of red, unlike the fully transparent game cases for the Switch 1. However, from what I can see, everything else appears to be identical.
