At present, it’s undecided whether the system will experience a price hike due to the tariffs, or if specific countries will be affected. At this moment, analysts forecast a $530 price in the U.S. (an increase from the initially announced price of $449.99), but it remains uncertain if the cost will escalate in Canada as well.
The much-awaited Nintendo Switch 2 was unveiled in January, along with a sneak peek at “Mario Kart World”. In April, Nintendo gave us a more detailed look at the upcoming system, announcing its release date, various new games, and accessories that will be available at launch. There’s a lot of excitement surrounding this new system, and fans can hardly wait to get their hands on it. However, similar to any highly anticipated product, there are concerns about scalpers. The PS5 was notoriously hard to find at its launch, and it’s likely we may face a similar issue with the Nintendo Switch 2. Consequently, many are trying to secure a preorder, but the exact timing for that remains uncertain.
