As a devoted Nintendo enthusiast, I’ve always admired how Nintendo pushes boundaries with its consoles, with direct sequels being quite rare, especially among its home consoles like the NES and Wii. The Switch, however, blurs the line between handheld and console gaming. During the recent Direct presentation, it was confirmed that the next iteration of the Switch, tentatively referred to as Nintendo Switch 2, will debut on June 5th. Initially, there was no mention of the pricing details. Post-Direct, it was subtly disclosed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will retail for $449.99, sans any bundles. Pre-orders in the U.S. can be placed starting April 9th. Exciting third-party games like “Split Fiction” and “Hitman”, as well as the newly announced “Mario Kart World”, will be available on launch day for players to enjoy.
