Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 can begin as early as 8th April 2025. The official launch date is set for 5th June.
First, exclusive pre-orders will be granted via an invitation system to longstanding members of the Nintendo Switch Online service. This includes those who have been subscribers for two years or longer, regularly play premium Nintendo Switch titles, and choose to receive updates from Nintendo about promotions.
Over time, the thresholds for pre-orders will be lowered and made available to everyone.
Starting from the 24th of April, pre-orders for digital games, upgrade packages, and amiibo for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 will become available on the My Nintendo Store.
