Occasionally, Nintendo’s selection for the Nintendo Switch Online library may not always be attention-grabbing, but occasionally, we receive significant new titles. One such game that has been recently announced is Ridge Racer 64.
Originating from Nintendo and distributed by Namco on the N64 in the year 2000, Ridge Racer 64 marked the debut of the series on a console other than PlayStation. A revamped version of this racing game was unveiled for the Nintendo DS in 2004; however, it didn’t garner as much praise. Despite its less successful remake, the original version retains a loyal fanbase who are undoubtedly excited about its upcoming re-launch.
For Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers, there’s no extra charge to play this game. It even offers four-player splitscreen multiplayer for the first time in the series. Moreover, the game boasts various game modes, nine tracks, 25 vehicles, and more. Take a look at the trailer below to catch a sneak peek of its features.
