No Good Deed creator on potential season 2: ‘A show like this has legs’

As a movie enthusiast who’s been through the tumultuous real estate market myself, I can say that Liz Feldman’s new series “No Good Deed” really struck a chord with me. The twisty plot and dark comedy elements are right up my alley, and it’s clear that this isn’t just a one-season wonder.

Creator Liz Feldman hints at the possibility of a second season for “No Good Deed”, suggesting it has potential to continue.

On December 12th, the dark comedy became available in its entirety on Netflix, starring Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano as the Morgans. This husband-and-wife duo, residing in Los Angeles, choose to sell their house with the aim of alleviating their financial obligations.

However, as we journey with the three pairs aiming to purchase their dream home, events start to unfold in a chilling manner, hinting at a secretive past lurking within the property.

The thrilling ending definitely sets the stage for an intense second season, with numerous queries yet unanswered.

In a recent interview with Variety, Feldman (from Dead to Me) showed great enthusiasm about the possibility of creating a second season for us to enjoy.

To put it another way, I’ve always envisioned a second season for this, and I believe a series like this can be successful as long as it’s creatively executed.

She continued: “I’m very excited to sit down and talk to Netflix about what those plans are. They know a little bit, but I do think that this show has some life left to live, and I really hope that we get to see it through.”

Previously, Feldman revealed that her personal journey within the cut-throat real estate sector sparked the idea for her latest show.

In an interview with Forbes Magazine during the show’s premiere on the red carpet, she stated that the movie “No Good Deed” was inspired by her personal experience when attempting to purchase a home.
