No More Room in Hell 2 Developer Addresses Lag and Server Issues

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from game-breaking bugs to server issues that make multiplayer a nightmare. The launch of No More Room in Hell 2 has been a rollercoaster ride, to say the least.


The follow-up to the original mod-turned-full-release hit, No More Room in Hell 2, has recently entered early access. Regrettably, numerous problems alongside other criticisms have arisen, resulting in an overall rating of “Mostly Negative.

Torn Banner Studios has shared some recent developments regarding lag and server issues they’ve been experiencing. They have taken steps to improve matchmaking by tweaking settings to pair players according to their internet connection speed (ping). Despite these changes, they are still vigilantly observing and working on the issue for further improvements.

Currently, some server problems are occurring as players from Asia and US-West are using cloud instances that are only about half as efficient as our desired level, due to the service provider lacking sufficient options. To resolve these issues, Torn Banner is actively working on solutions such as improving zombie movement speeds, enhancing hit reactions, and addressing other related concerns. In addition, they’re working on a quick fix to tackle various gameplay and performance problems that have been reported. Keep an eye out for more updates regarding this matter.

The sequel to “No More Room in Hell“, titled “No More Room in Hell 2“, is now accessible on PC through Steam Early Access. This latest installment offers a single map, a variety of adversaries and weaponry, and permanent death for characters, with the intention of staying in early access for at least a year.
