No More Room in Hell – Reanimation Update Goes Live in April, Adds New Map and “A Big Surprise”

Stating that Torn Banner Studios’ No More Room in Hell 2 had a less than ideal debut on Steam Early Access would be putting it mildly. However, since its release, the game has received numerous updates, introducing fresh weapons and abilities, rebalancing the difficulty, as well as new scenarios for locations like the Powerplant, among others.

This month brings our game’s most significant overhaul featuring Reanimation. It introduces a fresh location (Pottsville), refinements in combat mechanics, a lineup of characters, a circular inventory system, and an exciting mystery that we’ve been developing for quite some time. Players can look forward to numerous additional activities with this secret element.

Since the early access launch, Pottsville marks the first new map we’ve seen. This environment leans towards urban settings, making it more crowded and somewhat oppressive in feel. As for player options, it allows you to select three characters from the Responder team to bring into a map, thus avoiding the risk of a high-level character meeting an untimely demise.

In addition to the latest radial inventory system, objects now come with a certain weight. The denser an object, the larger storage area it requires. Moreover, the combat system provides opportunities for increased imagination and enhanced interaction among allies.

As a die-hard fan, I’ve found that managing my strike range, strategizing attack angles, and monitoring my energy levels have become crucial elements in this thrilling game. It’s all about staying agile while coordinating with my comrades. One teammate might specialize in crowd control, unleashing powerful blows and kicks to push back hordes of zombies, while another focuses on precision, meticulously thinning out the horde as they surge forward. The introduction of fresh melee weapons promises an even more exhilarating gaming experience!

Keep an eye out for when we’ll be releasing Reanimation, along with further information. Meanwhile, you can now get your hands on No More Room in Hell 2 for PC through early access. For a detailed take on its launch version, feel free to read our review right here.
