Spike Chunsoft unveiled a prologue video for the detective-themed puzzle game, “No Rest for Kaname Date – Originating from AI: The Dreaming Awake Files,” showcasing various characters and sequences from within the game itself.

The popular detective adventure series, AI: The Somnium Files, has earned global accolades from fans. A fresh installment in the franchise is set for release on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. In this upcoming game titled No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files, players take on the character of Kaname Date, who teams up with the AI-Ball, Aiba, to unravel a perplexing case and save Iris, a well-known internet personality forced into a deadly escape game. The new feature in this game is called “Escape”, where players will use puzzle-solving skills to break out of confined spaces. As before, players will engage in “Investigation” to scrutinize crime scenes and listen to statements. In the “Somnium” segments, they’ll delve into suspects’ dream worlds. By transitioning between these three modes, players can gather essential clues to crack the case.
The new version of the Nintendo Switch offers faster load times, enhanced visuals, and compatibility with a mouse for better navigation.
