In Noah’s Aug. 17 Instagram post, he expressed his immense pride for his girlfriend and wanted to present her with flowers as a token of appreciation. He shared that she has faced numerous challenges in her life that most people wouldn’t be able to endure. Moreover, she is not just a survivor but also an accomplished athlete who has represented Jamaica at the Olympics twice, winning medals, and multiple world championships since she was 8 years old.
In a July interview, it was mentioned that Noah spoke about the “drama” surrounding Jamaican athletes’ training as shared by his girlfriend Junelle. More specifically, Noah publicly criticized Jamaica for the harsh treatment Junelle had experienced.
“What’s truly remarkable lately is how she’s handled the disregard and hostility from her own country,” the 27-year-old went on. “This woman has been targeted by people who don’t know her, haven’t heard her speak, never witnessed her expressions, or learned about her convictions.”
Noah concluded, “She continues to progress, trusting that God will continually pave the way for her. That’s why she continues to receive blessings from Him!”
As Noah stood up for his girlfriend, some critics insinuated that the sprinter himself might have been the source of the hostility she initially faced, stemming from his previous remarks regarding their private talks and interactions.
