As a devoted follower of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, I must say that the latest antics of North West have left me utterly enchanted and somewhat envious. The little fashionista is not just copying her mother’s style; she’s masterfully redefining it with a flair all her own.
North West knows fame comes with a price.
It appears that when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest daughter ventures out in public, she has devised a method to avoid certain complications by assuming a fresh persona instead.
In an exclusive chat with Interview Magazine, published on October 11th, I shared a secret with my mom: “I’ve got one, but no one seems to believe me. It’s none other than Katie Johnson.
When at Sky Zone with friends, they know me as Katie, but when I gaze at myself in the mirror for a while, I think, ‘I don’t resemble a Katie,’ the youngster shared. Then it struck me that a name change was needed. So, I’m letting you all know now.
Due to the immense fame that North (age 8), Chicago (age 6), and Psalm (age 5), the children of Saint, have garnered, they find that there isn’t much they can control regarding their popularity. Although the eldest enjoys being in front of cameras, she often wishes it was on her own terms instead.
She mentioned that she enjoys capturing her own photos but dislikes it when paparazzi do. When she wakes up to a swarm of paparazzi, she feels like threatening legal action. However, if she’s well-rested, feeling good about her appearance, and her outfit is on point, she allows herself to be photographed.
Living a life under public scrutiny certainly has its disadvantages; however, it also offers advantages such as early access to opportunities that can help you achieve your dreams at a younger age.
North confessed, “I’m already engaged in many things that I aspire to become as an adult. However, what I truly desire is to start my professional journeys now.
Indeed, I’ve embarked on a multi-faceted journey in the world of entertainment. Recently, I had the privilege of portraying young Simba in Disney’s live rendition of “The Lion King” at the Hollywood Bowl, sharing the stage with luminaries such as Jennifer Hudson and the original voice cast like Nathan Lane, Jeremy Irons, Jason Weaver, among others, in May. Furthermore, I announced my upcoming album titled “Elementary School Dropout,” a tribute to my father’s 2004 album, “The College Dropout.
For an individual such as North, the range of options in terms of pastimes and professional goals is vastly extensive. At the tender age of 7, for example, she confidently envisioned herself as a boxer – that was, until she dabbled in other activities.
She shared with i-D last October that she’s no longer interested in pursuing boxing. Instead, she’s exploring different paths such as becoming a rapper, a basketball player, creating art to sell, and even expressed ambitions of owning businesses like Yeezy and SKIMS one day, aiming to be a successful business owner.

At North’s vibrant ninth birthday bash, themed around anime, I found myself engaging in a delightful game of make-believe with the charming character Kuromi from the enchanting series “Fantasy Magic Melody”. It was a joyous and imaginative experience that I shared with the birthday girl and her sister Kim.
