The chilling modern adaptation of the 1922 horror masterpiece “Nosferatu,” directed by Robert Eggers, can now be streamed digitally. On February 18, 2025, the film will be released in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats. Movie enthusiasts are in for a treat as the home media versions of “Nosferatu” will come packed with a treasure trove of bonus content. During an interview with Esquire UK, director Eggers revealed that a longer version of Nosferatu exists. He explained, “The first shot is intriguing because it’s one of those details film enthusiasts might notice. It’s a visually striking shot we really liked, but it was actually undermining the tension since it gave away Bill’s presence when we wanted to keep his mystery intact. However, if you decide to buy the Blu-ray, this extended scene can be found in the longer version of the film.
