Guilds Tier List – All Guilds Ranked From Best to Worst | Oblivion Remastered

Number 1: Dark Brotherhood

It’s no shocker that The Dark Brotherhood is at the pinnacle of our list, being such a beloved staple among fans! This guild truly immerses you in the role of an assassin through its distinctive quest structure. Additionally, you’ll amass a host of exclusive loot as your dedication to the cause is rewarded. To seal the deal, you’ll encounter some of the game’s most captivating characters while unraveling the brotherhood’s intriguing narrative!

This experience is greatly appreciated by many due to its merits, and we believe it’s definitely worth trying out at least one time. However, we would advise against it if the idea of portraying a morally questionable character doesn’t appeal to you.

Number 2: Thieves Guild

As a devoted player, I’d have to say that the Thieves Guild is undeniably my most valuable ally in the game. Not only can you find a seasoned pro who will wipe away your unwanted bounties without any trouble from the law, but you also get connected with shrewd fences where you can offload your ill-gotten goods effortlessly. The guild itself offers a compelling narrative and is home to some intriguing characters that defy easy categorization – these aren’t just ordinary thieves, they’re complex individuals with their own unique stories to tell.

In other words, if you’re not involved in stealing activities, you won’t find him very beneficial.

Number 3: Fighters Guild

Starting off early with the Fighters Guild is highly advantageous as it grants you additional companions and tasks through contracts, enriching your gaming experience. Additionally, you’ll receive a regular income in the form of gold and items! Many of the quests you can access are quite amusing, especially those involving the Blackwood Company.

One potential issue with this guild is that it lacks distinctive benefits; while you can acquire decent items there, they’re not particularly rare or exclusive. Furthermore, certain individuals may find the traditional knight and warrior personas within the guild somewhat uninspiring in terms of character variety.

Number 4: Mages Guild

In the original version of Oblivion without its DLC expansions, the Mages Guild might rank slightly higher. But since we’re discussing Oblivion Remastered, we need to adjust its ranking down a notch in our top guilds ranking system.

You’ll gain the power of Spellmaking as you advance through the guild’s questline, but if you play Oblivion Remastered, you can access Spellmaking sooner by simply unlocking the Frostcrag Spire house.

To put it simply, once you finish the Mages Guild’s questline, you gain access to some vendors selling advanced spells. However, I must admit that most of their quests aren’t all that enjoyable. If you’re not into magic, you can comfortably bypass the guild without losing out on much.

Number 5: Arena

Although the Arena is considered a significant guild, unfortunately, it lacks depth in terms of content. Primarily, it offers ranked battles against various opponents, with the main goal being to accumulate wealth. Regrettably, it doesn’t offer unique perks and has little to no narrative attached to it.

As an enthusiast, I must admit that the arena serves primarily as a venue for additional battles, but it’s not exactly brimming with captivating content, if I may be honest…

Here it is, our ranking list showcasing the top guilds in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. It’s unlikely these rankings will surprise anyone. And just a quick reminder, you are free to join all of these guilds simultaneously if you prefer!
