Oblivion Remastered Patch 1.1 Revealed, PS5 Performance to Be Addressed Later

Over a month has passed since Oblivion Remastered hit the shelves, and players have been eagerly anticipating news about an update – something that would tackle the game’s persistent performance problems and glitches. At last, the long-awaited silence has been shattered with some announcement.

The upcoming update, version 1.1, is scheduled for release next week on June 11th. Furthermore, a second update has been mentioned, though the exact release date remains undetermined at this point.

The great news is that the initial update seems to address numerous annoying issues such as stuck quests and recurring glitches.

Unfortunately, the latest updates don’t seem to address frame rates or overall performance issues, areas that could significantly benefit from improvement on PlayStation 5. However, it appears that these concerns will be addressed in the upcoming update, so patience is key for now.
