In “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered,” the Ring of Namira is among the Daedric Artifacts up for grabs, yet obtaining it requires that you successfully complete a mission assigned by Namira prior.

To kick off your journey, navigate towards Namira’s Shrine, which is located within the Jerall Mountains. This shrine can be found to the east of Bruma, as indicated on the provided map.

Upon reaching my destination, I’ve found a shrine guarded by a statue. To engage in dialogue with Namira here, there are a couple of conditions I must fulfill first:

  • Your character should be at least Level 5.
  • Your Personality needs to be 20 or lower, as implied by Hjolfrodi the Harrier near the shrine.

The most effective method to diminish your character is by drinking copious amounts of Inexpensive Wine, causing a decrease of 10 points in your personality for 120 seconds. You can find an abundance of this wine at every cathedral and chapel. The Great Chapel of Talos in Bruma is the ideal location due to its proximity.

1. If your Personality score is 60 or more, even the most affordable wine might not satisfy you entirely!

2. With a Personality of 60 or above, you’ll likely find even budget wines insufficient.

3. A personality score of 60 or higher means you’ll probably need something better than economical wines.

4. If your personality rating is 60 or over, you might discover that inexpensive wines won’t cut it for you!

5. With a Personality score of 60 or more, you’re unlikely to be content with just cheap wine.

6. When your personality score is 60 or higher, even affordable wines may not meet your standards.

7. If your personality ranks at 60 or above, you might find that budget wines are not up to the mark.

  • Equip the Helm of Ferocity for -5 Personality. You can get it from Agnete the Pickled in Skingrad.
  • Use the Document of Purile Banter scroll for -50 Personality. You can buy it at First Edition in the Imperial City’s Market District.
  • Use the Chronicle of Sacrifice scroll for -50 Personality. Buy it from Mach-Na’s Books in Cheydinhal.
  • Make use of Alchemy to create Restore Fatigue potions with the Damage Personality side-effect You’ll need to be at Level 50 Alchemy or higher. However, you’ll need to restore your Personality with more potions or by visiting a shrine afterward.

Once your Personality score falls below 20 points, approach Namira’s statue to listen to its message.

Namira’s Task

In simpler terms, Namira wants you to venture to an Ayleid ruin named Anga, which lies south of her shrine. Along the way, you’ll receive the spell known as Namira’s Shroud. Your mission is to delve into Anga and use the Namira’s Shroud spell on the four Arkay priests inside. This magical ability belongs to the Alteration school and typically costs 50 Magicka to cast. However, the cost could increase if your Alteration level is low.

Inside the dungeon, your mission is to locate the four Akray priests, identify them by their distinctive characteristics such as carrying torches and frequently chanting, and then perform Namira’s Shroud on them. Here’s a hint: the image above provides an example of what one of these priests looks like. They tend to move around within the dungeon, but due to their unique traits, you shouldn’t have much trouble finding them.

When you touch any of the priests with Namira’s Shroud, the Forgotten by Namira will immediately target those priests. Let the Forgotten take care of the priests, ensuring that you maintain a peaceful distance. Neither you nor the Arkray priests or Namira’s Forgotten should engage in combat, as doing so will cause the quest to fail.

After completing the task of slaying the four Arkray priests in Anga, which is the home of Namira’s Forgotten, make sure to visit Namira’s Shrine one more time. You won’t need a low attribute like charm or charisma for this interaction; simply approach the statue to obtain the Ring of Namira as your reward! Wearing this ring will endow you with 12% Reflect Damage and 10% Reflect Spell abilities.
