Oblivion Remastered Updates Still Nowhere to Be Seen a Month After Release

Now, it’s already been over a month since the launch of Oblivion Remastered via shadow drop, yet players are still in anticipation for significant enhancements to be made.

To set the record straight, revisiting Oblivion has been an enjoyable trip down memory lane for us, yet it’s undeniable that when it initially released, it had its share of issues and didn’t meet the mark in terms of quality.

Among significant, hard-to-justify performance problems and a lack of resolution for numerous bugs present in the original version, coupled with the introduction of entirely new issues in the remastered edition, it’s easy to find unhappy customers voicing their dissatisfaction online.

In April last month, specifically on the 29th, we shared news about Bethesda and Virtuos’ intentions to revamp Oblivion Remastered. They have been actively collecting player feedback, intending to incorporate this into future updates.

Yet, there’s been minimal discussion about this matter since then, and we find ourselves four full weeks past the initial launch. Given the obvious problems with this game, it’s not exactly a positive reflection.

It’s quite plausible that the developer is meticulously working to incorporate as many enhancements as possible into the upcoming update, but gamers shouldn’t have to wait such an extended period, particularly for performance-related improvements like smoother frame rates or addressing the memory issues that are presently affecting the game.

Hey there fellow gamer! I can’t help but wonder if we’re still keeping our fingers crossed for that Oblivion Remastered update. Let’s not let those occasional frame rate glitches in the comment feed get us down, shall we? 😄
