As an ardent fan, I can’t help but feel a sense of awe and admiration when I think about Nadya Suleman, or as she now prefers to be called, Natalie. Her life story is nothing short of extraordinary, from giving birth to octuplets in 2009, to becoming a grandmother just this year. It’s like watching a real-life soap opera unfold!

15 years ago, Nadya Suleman, famously recognized as the woman who delivered the first surviving set of octuplets, joyfully declared that she had become a grandmother, as one of her own sons was blessed with a new addition to his family.
Nadya, aged 49, expressed her gratitude on Instagram on September 23rd: “Thank you, my dear son and daughter-in-law, for bestowing this precious gift upon us! We feel incredibly fortunate to have this new family member. Baby girl, you are already deeply cherished, and we eagerly anticipate your growth and development!” [August 30th, 2024]
Next to a delightful message was a picture showing a tiny baby foot peeking out from under a soft pink cover. However, the new grandma didn’t provide further information like the baby’s name or which son had this adorable new arrival.
In the year 2009, Natalie (formerly known as Nadya), warmly received her eight youngest offspring – Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Jonah, Makai, Josiah, and Jeremiah – via in vitro fertilization. A medical expert in California implanted 12 embryos to achieve this.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: “I had the joy of welcoming eight little miracles into the world via C-section. Besides the octuplets, I am also blessed to be their mother – Elijah, Amerah, Joshua, Aidan, and the twins Calyssa and Caleb.
In more recent times, Nadya has mostly stayed away from public attention – her last known interview was back in 2018 where she discussed the challenges she faced under the limelight during her peak popularity. However, she frequently uses social media platforms to mark her kids’ birthday celebrations.
Indeed, in August, Nadya wrote a heartwarming homage to her son Joshua by sharing a collection of cherished old photos.
Dear Joshua, I’m incredibly proud of the person you’re evolving into. You are intelligent, witty, diligent, loyal, humble, and now a devoted spouse and expectant father,” she penned back then. “This year, you’ve managed to surmount challenges that appeared insurmountable, emerging on the other side stronger and more adaptive.
I cannot find the words to fully convey how much admiration and affection I hold for you. May divine grace continually watch over and shower you with blessings in abundance. On this joyous occasion of your 21st birthday, my beloved third-born child, know that my love for you remains unwavering. A small wish: Perhaps someday, you’ll grant me the pleasure of sharing an up-to-date image of yours.
Nadya also gave a look at her teenage kids in July, as she celebrated her birthday.
She expressed her gratitude on July 12, saying “Thanks to the little ones for turning my birthday into something extraordinary yesterday.” Over a series of images, there was a video of her youngest children serenading her. “I adore each and every one of you,” she concluded.
