Nadya Suleman is working on her fitness—and so are her 14 kids.
49-year-old Nadya Suleman, popularly known as “Octomom” due to giving birth to the world’s first surviving octuplets, recently offered a peek into her family’s lively daily routine.
She posted on Instagram on December 15th, ‘Strong, healthy family,’ along with images of us working out together at the gym. We’re not just surviving, but flourishing as one!
As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but be captivated by Nadya, the mother of 14, who donned a sleek black and gray workout ensemble. Her kids, ever curious, interacted with some of the gym equipment – one even turned a machine into a cozy pillow! Yet, this isn’t just casual playtime; it’s a testament to Nadya’s commitment to instilling health and wellness values in her brood.
But wait, there’s more! A glimpse into her lifestyle reveals a balanced diet brimming with vibrant vegetables, homemade juices that drip with freshness, and a salad so colorful it could be mistaken for an artist’s palette. To top it off, she shared a picture of a bowl overflowing with fresh fruit – a sweet treat that perfectly complements her nutritious regimen.
Indeed, Nadya sets an inspiring example for us all!
Apart from her octuplets Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Makai, Josiah, Jeremiah, and Jonah who are 15 years old, Nadya is also the mother to Elijah (23), Amerah (22), Joshua (21), Aidan (18), and 17-year-old twins Caleb and Calyssa. All of these children were conceived through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
In August, Nadya’s large family expanded further as she joyfully revealed her new role as a grandmother, following the arrival of her son’s lovely little girl.
She expressed gratitude in a September 22 Instagram post, accompanied by a picture of the baby’s little foot. The caption read, ‘Thank you, God, for bestowing this beautiful gift upon my son Joshua and his wife.’ They are overjoyed that she has become part of our family!
“Baby girl you are so very loved,” she added, “and we can’t wait to watch you grow!!”
Though Nadya seldom discusses her family’s private matters these days, it was known earlier that the sudden celebrity status and overwhelming public interest following the birth of her octuplets proved exceptionally challenging for her to handle.
2018 saw me, in a desperate bid to survive and care for my loved ones, adopt a false persona, a caricature that didn’t truly reflect who I am. This revelation came when I spoke to the New York Times. All my life, I’ve felt like I was hiding from the authentic world, living a life that wasn’t mine.
In fact, she admitted her quick rise to fame caused her to suffer from PTSD.
In those times, she shared, she would eagerly accept anything offered and open her doors to the numerous journalists approaching her. She was in a deep, dismal state and there seemed to be no wholesome prospects for Octomom.
She went on to explain, “I followed instructions and spoke as directed. But when you’re masquerading as someone else – at least in my experience – it usually leads to a stumble or a fall.
After all, she never asked to be thrust into the spotlight.
In 2010, she informed Oprah Winfrey that she isn’t a famous person, but rather someone who was thrust into the limelight as a kind of fake celebrity amidst all the media chaos. She didn’t desire this attention, and initially, she believed it could be avoided, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Nadya tirelessly worked to provide the best care for her 14 children. Continue reading to enjoy more heartwarming glimpses into their family life…
