OFF for Switch, Steam launches August 15

The free RPG game “OFF,” created using RPG Maker 2003 and initially released on PC on May 14, 2008, is set to release for both Nintendo Switch and Steam on August 15. This announcement was made by publisher Fangamer and developer Mortis Ghost. A physical copy of the game will be available for purchase through the Fangamer store on Switch in Q4 2025.

You can now try a demo version titled “OFF Prologue” on your PC through Steam. This demo offers approximately an hour’s worth of gameplay that serves as a prelude to the main game, placing you in charge of the Batter right from the beginning. The demo concludes with the battle against Dedan, the first boss encounter. When the full game is released, your progress in this demo will be saved and carried over to the complete version.
