Mother-to-be Olivia Culpo is bumping along and making predictions about the sex of her baby.
32-year-old wife, anticipating their first child with NFL star running back Christian McCaffrey from the San Francisco 49ers, revealed on a TikTok video posted March 14 some of her pregnancy symptoms. These symptoms, as per old and widely held beliefs (though not based on science), are sometimes used to guess a baby’s gender through various traditions, which remain popular despite their lack of scientific backing.
The 2012 Miss Universe pageant winner—who is able to find out the sex with Noninvasive Prenatal Testing, as she is well past her first trimester—noted that her baby’s heart rate is under 140 and that she craves salty rather than sweet food, indicating she is expecting a boy. However, she also noted that she has morning sickness, which allegedly means she is pregnant with a daughter.
Olivia also showed more alleged signs she may be expecting a girl, such as a lack of headaches, the high position of her baby bump and the presence of acne, which she pointed out by moving closer to the camera.
In summary, despite mentioning that she has symptoms typically associated with carrying a baby girl, she concluded her video by hinting that her instinct suggests they will be having a boy with Christian.
On March 10th, Olivia and the 28-year-old NFL player announced that they are expecting their first child together. Having tied the knot last June, they shared a video from their maternity photo shoot session, with Olivia also posting additional pictures of herself lovingly touching her growing belly on social media.
“Next chapter,” she wrote on Instagram, “motherhood.”
Pregnancy hasn’t been easy for Olivia. In addition to experiencing morning sickness, she was initially unable to exercise.
“I couldn’t workout the first 4 months of my pregnancy,” she said in a March 12 Instagram story, adding, “not even walking.”
She has since returned to working out and she and Christian recently embarked on a “mom and dad road trip” through North Carolina and into Tennessee with their toy Goldendoodle, Oliver.
On March 16th, Olivia posted pictures and a video from a hiking trip she took with her spouse and pet dog. The video showed their dog playing by a stream.
“Soaking up his last trip as an only child,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Poor guy lol”

During a vacation to Mexico, Olivia and Christian turned up the heat with a beachside photo.
“On Instagram, Olivia expressed that it’s been 3 years of New Year’s Eve kisses with Christian McCaffrey as they welcomed 2022. She added, ‘Time really does fly!'”
During Super Bowl weekend in 2020, Christian and Olivia attended AT&T TV’s Super Saturday Night.
“To my beautiful woman,” Christian wrote on Valentine’s Day 2021. “1/10 from the free throw line, 10/10 in my heart.”
“Tis’ *almost* the season,” Olivia wrote on Instagram before the 2021 NFL season kicked off.
“You are the hardest worker with the biggest heart,” Olivia wrote on Instagram when celebrating their anniversary in June 2021. “Getting to see you work your butt off every single day to make your dreams come true has been such an inspiration to me and your sincerity in everything you do makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
