Once Human Guide – How to Farm Starchrom, Stardust Source and Acid

As a dedicated player of Starry Studio’s Once Human, I’ve come to learn the intricacies of resource farming and have grown particularly fond of acquiring Starchrom, Stardust Source, and Acid. Each resource plays a unique role in enhancing my gameplay experience, and mastering their acquisition methods has been an exciting journey.

In Starry Studio’s “Once Human,” you’ll need to gather various resources for farming. Among the most essential are Starchrom, Stardust Source, and Acid. Each has distinct requirements and methods for obtaining them, with some being more straightforward than others. Here’s a simplified guide on how to efficiently farm each resource:

How to Farm Starchrom

With the Wish Machine or the Blueprint shop, Starchrom is employed to obtain blueprints. Instead, concentrate on achieving Seasonal Goals for smaller increments of Starchrom. Although these goals take more time to accomplish, they yield Mitsuko’s Marks upon reaching one, two, and three stars in a category. As new stages open during a season, the rewards in Starchrom become increasingly generous.

You have the option to obtain Starchrom through participating in Prime War activities. By exchanging 100 Stellar Planulas with Severin in Deadsville, Greywater, and Meyer’s Market, you can complete this task up to eight times each season. Additionally, by purifying specific items and an Eclipse Cortex using a Stardust Resonant Filter, you’ll also receive Starchrom. Keep in mind that the difficulty level of enemies increases with a higher level Cortex, so prepare accordingly for the battle against the waves.

How to Farm Stardust Source

To enhance and adjust the accuracy of your weapons, you need Stardust Sources. Obtain them by triggering Rift Anchors on the map, unlocking Mystical Crates, or completing Securement Silos. Alternatively, visit Nisa, a vendor in Deadsville at Meyer’s Market and Greywater, who sells them for Sproutlets. Each season, you can buy up to 10,000.

Another point to mention is that Startrace ore can be found and transformed into Starchrom or Stardust Source. This resource is scarcely available in its natural state and necessitates the use of a Steel Pickaxe or Drill for mining. Subsequently, you can convert it into Starchrom by employing a Stardust Resonant Filter or a Stardust Source along with an Electric Furnace.

How to Farm Acid

To refine materials such as Tungsten Ingots into Tier 4 and 5 gear, you’ll need Acid. You can obtain this substance by killing high-level Deviant enemies. However, consuming Preserved Deviated Chops beforehand will boost the amount of Acid gained by 50%. To prepare the chops, use any meat, Salt, and Peppercorn. Another option is to acquire the Sulfur Chemist Specialization and utilize Sulfur and Energy Link on an Advanced Synthesis Bench to manufacture Acid instead.

As a gamer, I can tell you that in this game, I can passively farm by constructing a Water Pump in contaminated areas. To make the water clean and useful, I need Osmosis Water Purifiers and Brewing Barrels as well, not forgetting electricity to power the entire setup. Setting it up requires some effort initially, but once it’s running, it becomes a beneficial background activity while I focus on battling enemies.
