So when I heard about One Move Away, a sort-of sequel from a different developer, my curiosity was piqued.

In an unexpected twist, a new game with a title similar to, yet not directly linked to, the popular unpacking game is being developed by another creator. Rather than organizing items within a stationary setting, this time around, your mission is to literally move house – taking on the challenge of arranging your possessions as you embark on a fresh life chapter in One Move Away. Positioned as a first-person puzzle game, your objective is to strategically place your belongings, one move at a time, in your new dwelling.

No matter if you’re meticulous about organizing or more of a quick-and-easy packer, One Move Away allows you to pack according to your style. Whether tidy or chaotic, it doesn’t matter as long as the trunk can close comfortably.

The story unfolds from three unique viewpoints, each with items carrying emotional significance that enrich the plot.
