One Piece Anime Cast Resumes Work for Egghead Arc Part 2

The popular anime series “One Piece” will be back on screens later in April, marking the longest break in its TV history. It seems the voice actors are already gearing up for the Egghead Arc‘s continuation. Last year, fans were taken aback when it was unexpectedly announced that the anime would take a six-month hiatus to ensure a smoother transition into what lies ahead. Though the wait seemed daunting initially, it won’t be much longer now.

The “One Piece: Egghead Storyline” is set to return with fresh episodes in April, and it’s certain that the creative minds behind the series are currently engrossed in crafting what’s to come next. Although specific details about the first episode remain elusive, rest assured that the talented voice actors of the “One Piece” anime will soon breathe life into the story as they have resumed work on the upcoming episodes. When Is One Piece Coming Back With New Episodes?

The “One Piece” saga, specifically the Egghead Arc, is set to resume in its second part starting April 6th. In Japan, this will air at a later time of 11:15 PM JST. Last year’s suspenseful ending will continue as “One Piece” Episode 1123 unfolds, with Luffy and the Straw Hats now spread across Dr. Vegapunk’s advanced island laboratory. The Marines are hot on their heels, aiming to eliminate the island entirely from the map. This was a significant cliffhanger that the anime left off with when it took a break, as the Marines are rapidly closing in on the island.

In the anime, the latest event that viewers witnessed was Garp and Koby engaging in a battle on Blackbeard’s fortress, Beehive. This encounter resulted in some incredibly animated scenes before it concluded. If Part 2 of the arc can even slightly replicate the high-quality action moments we experienced during the first half of the episodes, fans are eagerly anticipating an amazing experience when the One Piece anime returns this coming Spring.

What’s Next for One Piece?

2025 and beyond will see the initiation of several fresh ventures for the beloved series “One Piece”. Apart from Eiichiro Oda’s manga resuming with new installments soon, the Netflix live-action series is also gearing up for its second season. While a release date for the upcoming episodes has yet to be announced, production updates have been consistently shared over the past year—ranging from casting news and sneak peeks to other exciting developments.

Although the final months of 2024 were challenging times for fans of “One Piece,” as both the anime and manga were on break, the forthcoming year appears more promising. The creators are back at work on fresh episodes, with Subaru Kimura joining the team as the new Franky actor after Kazuki Yao’s retirement. This means that the wait for “One Piece” to return will be less arduous than before. Patience is key – it won’t be long now.
