One Piece Brings Shanks’ Explosive Fight With Kid to Life: Watch

As a dedicated fan of One Piece, I’m thoroughly impressed with how the latest episode showcased the power and experience gap between Red-Haired Shanks and Eustass Kid. The fight between these two major characters further highlights the significance of the ongoing Egghead Arc and its role in setting up the final saga of this iconic manga series.

As a dedicated gamer of One Piece, I’m thrilled to share that the latest episode of the anime took a detour from the ongoing Egghead Arc’s build-up and treated us to an epic showdown between Red-Haired Shanks and Eustass Kid! The Egghead Arc is paving the way for the Final Saga, marking a significant turning point in Eiichiro Oda’s groundbreaking franchise. With Luffy and the Straw Hats currently navigating their paths through Dr. Vegapunk’s future island laboratory, there are some major game-changing developments taking place involving the other active Emperors as well.

As a passionate fan of One Piece, I’m thrilled to see Red-Haired Shanks back in the game following the epic Wano Country arc finale. With renewed determination, he’s now on a mission to obtain the remaining Road Poneglyphs and ultimately reach the coveted One Piece. Unfortunately, Kid, another formidable member of the Worst Generation, crossed his path on Elbaf, leading to an intense clash that underscores the vast disparity in power and experience between them and possibly the strongest Four Emperors of the Sea. Witness their electrifying encounter below:

One Piece: Shanks vs. Kid Explained

In Episode 1112 of One Piece, we return to Elbaf as Kid determines to engage Shanks in combat. He’s carried a deep-seated animosity towards Shanks’ crew, as they were the ones who amputated his arm. Kid aimed to prove himself worthy of being called the King of Pirates by challenging their powerful fleet. With determination burning bright, Kid prepared for an all-out battle that could potentially bring devastation to the waters. Fearing this imminent danger, the Emperor felt compelled to confront Kid head-on before things spiraled out of control.

Upon witnessing his grim future through Observation Haki, Shanks boldly steps in between Kid and himself, unleashing a Divine Departure that instantly vanquishes Kid. Sadly, the aftermath discloses that Killer had tried to shield Kid from Shanks’ attack, leaving him injured as well. The final blow comes when Dorry and Broggy swiftly sink Kid’s ship with a relentless assault. Similar to Law’s defeat at the hands of Blackbeard, an Emperor has effectively eliminated another member of the Worst Generation, leaving Luffy with one less rival in his quest for the One Piece.
