As a long-time fan of One Piece, I am beyond excited for the English dub release of the Egghead Arc this Summer! Dr. Vegapunk is a pivotal character in the Final Saga and has been a mystery for so long, and finally getting to hear him come to life through Kent Williams’ voice acting is an amazing experience.
The “One Piece: Egghead Arc” of the anime, which is part of the Final Saga in Eiichiro Oda’s “One Piece” manga series, will begin its English dubbed version this summer. To bring the character of the scientist to life, the voice actor has been announced. This arc marks a significant milestone as it is the first major arc of the final saga. Though the Japanese release has already progressed through this arc, the English dubbed version is all set to start soon and contribute to building up to the grand finale.
The “One Piece: Egghead” arc will mark a rare occasion where Japanese and English dubbed versions of the anime will synchronously air, with the English version’s digital release date approaching this summer. Toei Animation has disclosed the first new cast member, Kent Williams (voice of Dr. Gero, Supreme Kai in “Dragon Ball,” and Kuro in “One Piece”), who will lend his voice to none other than Dr. Vegapunk himself. Starting August 17th, the English-dubbed version of One Piece: Egghead Arc, covering episodes 1086 to 1096 of One Piece Season 15, will be up for digital purchase. A month later, on September 17th, these episodes will become accessible for streaming on Crunchyroll. Fans won’t have to wait much longer to witness the long-awaited appearance of the new Dr. Vegapunk in action, following brief mentions throughout the series.
If you’d like to re-watch the entire “One Piece” anime from the start, including OVAs, movies, and other specials, Crunchyroll is where you can find the whole collection. They offer both Japanese and English language dubbed versions for your convenience.
