One Piece Season 2 Adds More Actors To Its Villainous Roster

The hit Netflix series “One Piece” burst onto the scene with immense popularity, captivating countless new fans as they were introduced to Monkey D. Luffy and his ambition to become the Pirate King for the first time. As season two is being produced, buzz about significant new casting has surfaced online regarding the villainous half of the Grand Line’s equation. While infamous anime antagonists like Mr. 3 and Crocodile have already been cast, a new actor will join Baroqueworks, while two actors are set to portray characters that give “Dragon Ball’s” Vegito a tough challenge in terms of fusion power.

Initially, Sophia Anne Caruso, known for her roles in Beetlejuice and The School For Good And Evil, has been chosen to portray Miss Goldenweek (also known as Marianne). In case you’re not familiar, Marianne possesses the ability to hypnotize enemies using her paints and can exert control over targets by splattering paint onto them. Similar to Mr. 3, Marianne crosses paths with the Straw Hats on Little Garden, an island inhabited by prehistoric creatures as well as two colossal giants. On the other side of things, Mark Penwill from Catch Me a Killer and Anton David Jeftha from Legacy will be playing Chess and Kuromarimo respectively. These antagonists serve under Wapol and have a unique skill that enables them to combine into a formidable adversary, without needing a fusion dance.
