One-Punch Man April Fool’s Post Takes Aim at the Series’ Biggest Problem

This year brings the much-anticipated return of the third season for One-Punch Man, as it delves deeper into the battle between the Hero and Monster Associations. In our last encounter, Saitama found himself witnessing Garou, a hero killer, aligning with the underworld’s adversaries, paving the way for an even greater peril later this year. Although the anime has taken a break for some time, the manga continues to thrive but often faces a common challenge among its readers. In an amusing April Fools Day trick, certain fans have exploited one of the most significant problems associated with author ONE and artist Yusuke Murata’s intense series.

As an observer, I’ve noticed that if you’re not up-to-date with the ongoing debate surrounding the “One-Punch Man” manga, artist Yusuke Murata seems to have a meticulous approach when it comes to Saitama’s storyline. Frequently, the release of new chapters gets delayed due to his dedication to revisiting and refining earlier chapters and battles, a process he refers to as “redraws”. While some fans appreciate the fresh art for familiar scenes, many others express frustration because these meticulous touches push back the arrival of new chapters. Recently, one particularly vocal fan account decided to add fuel to the fire among manga readers, further exacerbating their disappointment.

The Ninja Village Arc Returns…Again

Witnessing the confrontation between Saitama and Bang against Empty Void, one of the founding members of the Ninja Village, I find myself in awe. Due to the power bestowed by the dark deity that boosted Garou’s strength, Empty Void now stands as the second most powerful being in the universe, with Saitama remaining the top contender. In the latest manga chapters, Yusuke Murata has meticulously re-illustrated significant moments from this battle, a move that has been both appreciated and overly repetitive according to the social media account Everything_OPM, who swiftly seized the opportunity to express their thoughts.

The Ninja Village arc will be undergoing redraws again for the 3rd time

One-Punch Man’s Third Season Arrival

In October this year, “One-Punch Man” is set to return for its third season on television screens. The season will be animated by JC Staff, the studio that produced the second season. Interestingly, while the first season was initially created by Studio Madhouse, JC Staff took over the series and produced a season that stirred up quite a bit of controversy. Here’s hoping that with more than five years under its belt, the animation studio has picked up some valuable lessons along the way, allowing the franchise to recapture the magic it had in its first season.

In the third season, it seems I’ll be witnessing a significant shift as Saitama and Garou appear to dominate the narrative. They’re like two sides of the same coin, each embodying distinct aspects. Unlike Saitama, who enjoys his heroism without the need for training, Garou is putting in all his effort to prepare for his upcoming confrontation with our main character.
