The upcoming year looks promising for fans of One-Punch Man, with hints suggesting the long-awaited return of the third season. After a five-year hiatus, Saitama and the Hero Association will be back on our screens, as Garou and the Monster Association continue to pose significant threats in the anime. However, readers of the manga are facing some frustration due to the 212th chapter, as the creators have opted for another round of “redraws.” This decision has left many anime enthusiasts feeling stuck in a repetitive cycle, or an “endless loop.
For individuals seeking a summary of the ongoing events in the manga ‘One-Punch Man’, the battles against Garou the Hero Killer have concluded, making way for a new villain who could potentially challenge Garou’s prowess. This new adversary is none other than Void, one of the strongest ninjas from the Ninja Village. Previously, Void was an ally to the top hero Blast. What sets Void apart now, as ‘Empty Void’, is his ability to summon the same power that Garou drew from the “evil god” that has been causing trouble for the Hero Association. Unfortunately, the latest chapter is a re-release, leaving readers feeling frustrated and stuck in the storyline.

What’s a Redraw Anyway?
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but get excited whenever I hear about Yusuke Murata, the artist behind One-Punch Man, revisiting old scenes from the cherished manga series. He skillfully tweaks these scenes in ways that, to me, make the material even more captivating. However, it’s understandable that some fans might feel a bit lost when the focus isn’t on new content, particularly at this stage of the arc. Interestingly enough, the “Empty Void” arc is one that has already concluded in the web comic created by ONE, which continues to be updated by him to this day.
If you’re curious about when Void will first appear in the anime version, it seems like you might have a bit of a wait ahead. The upcoming third season appears to be concentrating on Garou and the Monster Association, as per the source material, so it’s likely that these storylines will dominate. Given the length of the battles involved, there’s a strong possibility that a fourth season would also focus on these same themes. Although it might take some time before these battles are animated, the enduring popularity of the franchise virtually ensures that the anime adaptation of One-Punch Man will eventually showcase them.
Will Saitama Ever Lose?
Title character in this series is persistently searching for a formidable adversary, someone who might stand a chance against him in a fight. In the animated version, Saitama hasn’t found anyone yet who can even touch him, as the latest season clearly demonstrates. The strongest creatures of Monster Association have also failed to harm “Hero For Fun”, but we’ll see if the third season manages to flip the script in favor of the villains.
